Hinds County Board of Supervisors recognized the milestone achievement of Mattie Cathey.

During its regular board meeting Monday, Oct. 7, the Hinds County Board of Supervisors recognized the milestone achievement of Mattie Cathey.

        

Mattie Cathey affectionately known as Mother Cathey is one of Hinds County's most prized citizen. The board recognized her being 102 years young. She has lived in District 2 for over 60 years.

Congratulations Mother Cathey, thank you for representing the best of Hinds County.
