State Representative Justis Gibbs came bearing gifts for the Hinds County Board of Supervisors.
Gibbs, who represents District 72 that includes District 1 in Hinds County, attended the board meeting Monday, Oct. 7 and presented two checks to the board.
One in the amount of $50K that will enhance and upgrade the solar surveillance system in neighborhoods in the district and the other in the amount of $400K, that will support two paving projects on portions of Hanging Moss and Beasley Roads.
The Hinds County Board of Supervisors would like to say thank you to State Representative Justis Gibbs for his leadership. "It is always a good day in Hinds County, when our state leaders are actively involved in improving the quality of life for Hinds County citizens," said Robert Graham, board president and District One Supervisor. "It is important that the needs of our citizens remain a top priority."
